Are you concerned about levels of gambling in the community? Have you been negatively impacted directly or indirectly by gambling? Do you work with those who might be affected? Would you like to find out more about the Spectrum of Gambling Harms? Are you interested in gambling reform?

This one-day public seminar is aimed at community/health/welfare workers/students, local government community services/social planning staff and the general public. Focus will be on considering latest research on the spectrum of gambling harms including: The impacts of gambling on quality of life years, harm prevention, health promotion and public health.

Impacts of gambling upon individuals, families and communties will be discussed along with information about services and projects aimed at reducing gambling harms. Come along and share your ideas on how to respond to this public health issue and find out about opportunties for further engagement with some innovative community programs.
